WHAT WE DO

Our business model and objectives

DPI focuses on utility-scale solar and microgrids projects, leveraging its ability to deploy early risk capital, financing and technological expertise, relationships in the region, agility of decision making and project execution.

DPI’s policy is to develop greenfield projects, reflecting its expertise in engineering and financing, and therefore bringing them to RTB (Ready To Build) and COD (Commercial Operation Date) at its own risk/cost.

The initial regional focus is Southeast Asia (ASEA). Australia and Europe, due to the drastically increasing demand of renewable energy in the region.

WHO WE ARE

Value Chain

Development

The development process starts with identifying potential site locations that meet our thorough criteria, taking into account among others: distance from nearest transmission/substation, conditions required from grid operators, expected solar irradiation and snowfall, land zoning, environmental and development regulations etc.

Engineering

Our challenge is to maximize energy yield while minimizing costs (both capex and opex) and time to build renewable energy facilities. Operating facilities over a 30 year span with minimal operation costs is also key from an engineering standpoint. Our team has a track record of confidence and solutions to optimize plant design to meet our extensive criteria, including the abovementioned factors. We always keep in mind our aim to offer great engineering in order to make clean energy generation cost -competitive in the market.

Construction

Our mission is to manage EPC firms to deliver projects for us on-time and within our budget. With the extensive experience of our leading team in developing and building renewable energy facilities, we have a very solid track-record of managing our contractors and vendors to complete facilities within budget and according to our demanding quality standards.

Finance

DPI’s leading team has a track record to of over 50 billion raised, mostly through structured finance. Financing is a key factor in order to make large-size projects more efficient and increase the overall reliability.

Operation

Once a renewable energy facility starts operation, it is critical to have efficient and well-organized operations & maintenance (O&M) services and asset management in order to reassure a stable benefit from it. O&M services include a set of complex systems and advanced technologies with constant focus on safety. Our team introduces a thorough experience in managing O&M contracts and experienced technicians and engineers to optimize the daily performance of the project site. Our innovative mindset and dedication to the “everlasting improvement” philosophy encourages us to share key findings within our company to optimize our development and construction process. It all results in an improved investment return and a safer operation for an overall better asset management.
