KAZUOMI KANETO – Founder & CEO
Kazuomi is co-founder and the former CEO at Pacifico Energy, the biggest Japanese solar development company. Kazuomi has developed, constructed, invested and operated in energy projects globally. Since the closing of his first gas-fired project in 1995, he has managed the successful development and investment of nearly 5,000 MW of renewable and conventional fuelled power projects. Kazuomi earned his B.E. from Keio University, Kazuomi also holds his M.S. in management (Sloan Fellow) from Stanford University.
THOMAS LEUNG – Partner. Head of Investment
Thomas has 28-year experiences in capital market regulatory and investment banking. He started his career in the Securities & Futures Commission of HK since 1990. Subsequently, Thomas acted as the alternate chief executive of a bank, and as a listing sponsor principal and responsible officer registered in HK. He lead arranged project financing for nuclear, LNG CCGT, coal-fired, and solar power plant projects, as well as other infrastructure projects in the region. Thomas arranged more than 100 financing transactions, including IPOs, fixed income issues, syndicated financing, and other types of fundraising, with an aggregate financing amount over USD47 billion.
LLUIS TORRENT – Partner & Head of Business Development
Mr. Torrent was previously the ABB Global Solar Centre of Competence Operations Manager and the former ABB Japan Renewables manager. He has more than 4 GW experience in photovoltaics developed worldwide, with more than 1 GW built worldwide, including Europe, Africa, Americas and Asia. Mr. Torrent has extensive experience on industrial plants automation and high level SCADA systems programming and implementation.
Mr. Torrent holds an Industrial Engineering degree, a Master in Automation and Robotics a Master in Organization and an MBA from Instituto de Empresa business school, Spain.
ROBERTO CEBRIAN – Partner & Head of Engineering
Mr. Cebrian was previously the ABB Global Solar Centre of Competence Engineering Manager. He has more than 4 GW experience in photovoltaics developed worldwide, with more than 1 GW built worldwide, including Europe, Africa, Americas and Asia. Mr. Cebrian has solid experience in wind development in North America (USA and Mexico) and South Africa as well as biogas in Europe.
Mr. Cebrian holds an Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering degree, a Master degree in renewables and an MBA from Complutense University, Spain.
